Thanks Best Buy salesman! You helped us buy three tablets...FROM TARGET! (Read till the end, its worth it) We came here to buy three tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1) We had to flag down a salesman just to be able to see if they had any in stock (none were in the display case) He said "I believe we have some" we asked if he could check (because "I believe" didnt sound very convincing). He went to check, and came back with one and handed it to me. We said "I'm sorry, but we actually wanted three." You would think he would be happy, instead he closed his eyes and gave out a big sigh. I said "if you have something else you're doing go ahead" (obviously we didn't feel like we were being cared for) he said "its ok, I just have like 10 people waiting for me in the Apple store" I said "go ahead" We left...

Did some quick checking online, found out Target at the Grand Traverse Mall had the same price, PLUS a $20 gift card (which could be used on the tablets) AND if you use your Target card you get an additional 5% off! So needless to say, we saved quite a bit of money. I'm so glad we didn't buy those tablets at Best Buy in TC! With all the brick and mortar stores closing, you would think they would focus more on individual customer service. Oh well, I saved big money at the competition! Thanks Best Buy!

I bought an external hard drive to use with my MAC desktop computer. (I had an old external hard drive that was crashing and needed to transfer my photos to a new hardrive before It was too late.) I was told by the sales person that this external hard drive was MAC compatible and so I bought it and took it to a tech support service to have all of my pictures transferred. Now I find out that the external hard drive I bought is NOT MAC compatible unless it is reformatted by the company.... in other words I now have to either buy a new hard drive which is compatible out of the box (for another 90.00) or pay to have my existing external hard drive reformatted because all of my pictures will be wiped off of it. All I got from Best Buy was the run around, because they don't want to stand behind their work. Last time I'm shopping with you good luck!

I have done thousands of dollars in business with this company for over 15 years because they have many convenient locations and their prices were competitive. Service satisfaction has been up and down from very good to very poor. Over all things have been tolerable until recently. The biggest problem is in the area of the changes to a nearly totally automated customer service system. I'm from the old school and prefer the good old face to face type of service...those days are apparently gone for good. I recently purchased a new computer (the sixth from them) and the salesperson ordered the wrong one, so I called to talk to the computer sales floor but the young lady who answered insisted she could handle the problem. I informed her I wanted to talk with the salesman about technical points and she informed me that I couldn't because that was her job. After ten minutes of haggling with her I asked to speak with a manager. The manager (?) explained that it was part of their system for the young lady to handle customer issues. I explained to him the problem and threatened to take my business elsewhere after my service contract runs out in a year. He put me on hold for ten minutes but came back and informed me that he had changed the order and gave me an arrival date. I called today and was informed the product was in but the automated system offered no method for me to check and see if it was the correct machine before I drove 70 miles to the store. I eventually got a fellow who informed me it was there but made no offer to check physically. I asked to speak with the Geek Squad and make an appointment to have it prepped, I waited a total of 20 minutes and still no answer. I recalled the store because there was no way to return to the main menu, I talked to the same operator (?) was put back on hold and waited 15 minutes on hold with no answer. I recalled again talked to the same guy (maybe it was a robot) without satisfaction so I informed him (it) that I would be coming tomorrow without an appointment and they had better take care of the issue ! The manager and I are destined to become either best friends or worst enemies ! By the way I did attempt to get an appointment at BestBuy.com twice without results ! This will be my last purchase from Best Buy !

I have always had great experiences with Best Buy, very helpful associates and knowledgeable, if they don't know they go and ask someone for you. LOVE shopping here....

I had a computer tune up which was completed in house at the Traverse City store. It worked great and I was very happy to have a maintenance agreement with Geek Squad. However, there was a small issue that I could not figure out involving photo transfer. I walked to the Geek Squad desk at 6 pm on a Sunday. The agent, BRUCE, told me to go home, get the computer, and bring it right back. Within 15 minutes he had found the problem, fixed it and made sure I was happy. I am very grateful that he dropped what he was doing and I went home happy.
