This place is a joke. Expect to wait around while the employees talk among themselves or are outside smoking. Don't expect to call the local number for this store either. You will not be able to talk to anyone. One of the last times I went into this store for help, I was given the 1-800 number for AT&T and told that I would have to call myself. When I was finally connected (on my own phone) to an agent, the agent asked me why I was calling when I was at the store? Why weren't the representatives in the store assisting me? Great question. She asked to speak with Brian (the representative at the store who was "helping"me) and after he spoke with her, he was none too happy. Ironically, after sitting there on the phone for over 30 minutes and being transferred around, Brian then decided that he himself would call a representative. He then told me I would need to hang up because there could not be two reps working on the issue at the same time. I would not recommend using AT&T for your phone services. And DO NOT ever pay them for their phone insurance. Also a joke. Get phone insurance through your homeowner's or renter's insurance. It's about $25 a year and you will receive a check to buy a new phone or fix yours. You will NOT get a replacement phone that is still registered to the person who owned it three years prior to you. Needless to say, AT&T did do the right thing today (not at this store) and let me out of my contract early and gave me a whopping $50 credit on my last bill.
Very Friendly and helpful staff!! I have been to other AT&T stores here in Traverse City and my only good experiences have been at this Store!!!
Been standing here waiting for almost 25 minutes and two att workers are standing around chatting. I have picture!
Please double check in the future that your customers are still in the timeframe for a buy one get one deal if they ask you. Don't just assume. Because they might actually be one day late and be forced to pay for a phone they never would have gotten if not for the deal. Like me. Thankfully months and months later, after calling the at&t complaint number, I am now receiving a full credit for my phone and extra discounts each month, no thanks to whoever is in charge at this particular location, who said because I was one day late there was nothing he could do for me, even though this all happened because an employee told me the day I signed up that I was not too late. I'm happy to have this resolved through the higher-ups but am not impressed with the quality of customer service at this store.
