My brother worked for simple auto and quit working their bases on threats to his family from distraught customers. We even bought a vehicle from them because we too trusted that they were trustworthy (as so many people do) unfortunately they take advantage of people that find themselves in financial difficulty. They claim a “drivetrain warranty”. They will deny you every chance they get. They will over charge for vehicles that are worthless. My uncle was asked to do paint jobs for them and he declined because they requested that he bondo rusted out areas to make vehicles appear to be in better condition than they actually were. I also know from experience that they give out $20 gas cards to customers that are financially struggling only if they put a good review on their website. They are a sad company and surely karma will find them. If you are in a bad situation financially you will surely find yourself struggling far worse if you decide to trust this horrifying company. I assume they won’t keep my review up for long. They don’t play by the same rules as genuine companies do. I assure you that you couldn’t make a bigger mistake financially then to trust these people. Even their employees are embarrassed to be associated with such a scheming scamming dishonest company. If you value you your future, do not invest in any vehicle they have available. All vehicles they have may look good but are not at all what they seem. They should be chased out of the auto sales industry completely. What an embarrassment they are to all who aspire to truly help those in need. Shame on you simple auto.
My schedule makes me a very busy person and I fully rely on my car for work and taking care of my children. Tina and Jamie were so quick with getting me into a reliable car and working with my budget. I came in not expecting to find anything, and got my new car same day, and very quickly! I would recommend Simple Auto of Traverse City, and their friendly staff any day!

Told me I was approved for $7500, then gave me an option of 2 cars, one was clearly in an accident with lousy body work and the other wouldn’t work either. I chose to opt out on them. They said they would sell me another vehicle that was junk but had to have more down, I passed. Told them let me know if something else comes available. 3 weeks later i get a letter saying my loan is now denied. Makes me wonder what kind of game they’re playing. Seeing as I could’ve walked out of there that day if I took a car they said I could. If I was denied then what were they going to do take my down payment then repo it and keep my money? Sounds shady to me seeing as they say everyone is approved.
Not the place to stop for a car. They do not inspect their vehicles. They take the chances on you trusting them, when selling you a vehicle that's going to break down in less then 3000 miles. Bad business. I hope someone sues them. Their vehicles are not good!
