I have had a great experience with this branch in the past, however this past Friday I called this branch 5 times and each time waited on hold for over 10 minutes, listening to the same on-hold message over and over to then have their automated phone system disconnect me because I was on hold for so long. I finally ended up driving to the branch to make the reservation in person, however, I was told that I had to make the reservation online even though I was at the branch. So now I have to use my phone to make the reservation while the guy waiting on me sat there playing on his phone. This was for a corporate account and over the past 10 years, I've never had to make a reservation online. An hour later I finally have the car rented but now I needed it to be delivered to my office because they don't have room in their lot for me to leave my personal car. I told the guy waiting on me that I needed it no later than 4:30pm. long story short I had to end up using my personal car for a work trip because the car was not delivered until after 5pm, and I had to be in Detroit, MI by 10pm. I called the branch at 2pm, 3pm, with the same result as before, finally got through at 3:30pm and was told it would be to my office by 4:30pm. I did not drive this car a mile but was still charged for it. Not very happy with this branch at all, I've tried calling them a few more times to dispute the charge but once again I cannot get through to anyone.
My need to rent a car was due to a car accident. My own car wad totalled and I rented the car from Enterprise for about 7 days. Staff were courteous and profesdional. This is a busy place and there was some wait but it was expected. The car I rented was a 2015vor 2016 Kia Sportage (which I like a lot) and was clean inside and out. My only complaint about my experience with Enterprise is that after I had my car for a couple days sn employee called me to say I needed to drive back to Enterprise because the tabs on my plate were expired. When I looked at the plate I was quite surprised that the license plates had been expired for well over a full month. It would have been a major inconvenience to get pulled over for expired plates! Otherwise my experience at Enterprise was very good.
Used Enterprise while our car was in being repaired. Car was a bit "smoky" smelling, had it been a deal breaker I would have exchanged cars. Was only using it for work and home though. Had a misunderstanding regarding he coverage we were charged for over the 5 day rental. With some contacts we were able to resolve the this and charges and were reimbursed. Will rent again.
I always get professional service from Enterprise. The cars are ready when I stop in to pick up my wheels. They take the time with each customer to answer questions etc. They will point out the little things that you need to know, like where the release is for the gas cap cover or where the wiper blade button is. They treat you like a customer and not just a car rental person, get in and sign here and get out, NEXT person please. This Traverse City Enterprise location is tops in customer service and the local body shops know this and will refer their customers here too.
Awesome staff, very accommodating, very fast and very friendly. Cars are always in excellent condition and the branch is in a convenient location.
