Wren Photography absolutely EXCEEDED any and every expectation we had!!! I recommend this dynamic duo without any reservation. Jen and Alex were so easy going, and natural to be with during our elopement wedding. They are extremely good at what they do, but what I think made our experience with them exceptional was that everything was so NATURAL. Jen and Alex captured and created the memories of our event so naturally, that we will forever be able to look through our pictures and feel like we are there again.
I could not imagine having any other photographers at my wedding. Jen and Alex were so wonderful throughout the process, they answered all of our questions promptly and helped us to make sure that our wedding day was perfect! We live about 4 hours away from our wedding venue and they were willing to Skype with us and help us through every step. They have a few different packages that you can choose from and vary in price according to what you get. They seemed fairly pricey for me at first but after looking at their work and knowing that I was getting two photographers, not to mention everything else that came with the package that I chose (including an annual photo session with them) I knew that I wanted them to photograph my wedding. They were professional throughout the whole experience, but still so much fun and they knew exactly what they were doing. I had a couple of hiccups at my wedding that they were completely prepared for, and took charge when others were not quite on top of things. I absolutely adore my photos and could not imagine having hired a more amazing couple than Jen and Alex. I will always recommend them and their work.
Everything about working with Alex and Jen was amazing. From our stylized engagement photo shoot, to planning how the day would unfold, to arranging not only one first look, but two (did one with my dad as well), to keeping our energetic bridal party on schedule, to capturing all the decorative details I painstakingly took a year to create, to an ultimate photo of all our guests at the wedding - it was all such a great experience. We are unbelievably happy with all our photos!
Fast forward two years to our engagement. Once we decided on a hometown wedding, I knew we needed to book Wren. During the inquiry process, Jen and Alex were very upfront about what all their services are and the cost associated. I knew photos were going to be a significant investment - and that's what they really are, and investment. At the end of the day, you don't have much that's tangible from the day - some souvenirs, a dress you may or may not wear again in some way, wonderful memories, and the photos that help you relive that day over and over again. Wren Photography was more expensive than some of our other options (to be fair, we didn't really look at too many other options), but there were some unmistakeable advantages: I was familiar with their quality and personalities and knew we would mesh, I loved their non-traditional approach, we chose a package that included a photo book at the end (front ending that cost was brilliant), and our guests received photos at a lower price because we paid a bit more up front. The price tag made us pause for a second, but once we realized what we were getting, we knew it really was a value.
I don't even know where to start raving about Jen and Alex! I was first introduced to Wren Photography three years ago during a close friend's wedding. I was a member of the bridal party and was so impressed with not only the final results of the photos, but the whole process. We had a blast taking the photos, and Jen balanced being necessarily bossy (to keep us on time and get us to the party) and tons of fun - what a pro!

Jen and Alex (the wonderful duo behind Wren Photography) are simply amazing. They have always gone above and beyond what they are required to do. Engagement, wedding, and now family pictures have always gone so smoothly thanks to their expertise! My husband hates being photographed, Jen and Alex helped him overcome that and have always captured the perfect pictures of us! I cannot recommend them enough!
