Well I called and got Candy on the phone. She was SO HELPFUL! She pulled the item for me and had it waiting. I then got thinking oh boy I am going to have to put this swing together while the baby cries. So I called back and asked if there was anyway I could have them put it together and that I would be passing though in an hour. NO PROBLEM! I showed up and it was waiting for me right there! A nice man Jason put it together for me and him and Candy went over everything and helped me load it into the car and I was out the DOOR! It was fantastic. I also want to mention Samantha for she rung me up and got me signed up on baby rewards and was so nice too. It was a fantastic experience for my first time dealing with a toys r us since I was a little kid. Thank you so much Candy, Jason, and Samantha! You made Addie very happy!!!!
Not a huge fan of this store. It's quite scaled down from others I used to shop. The workers are very friendly and helpful though, and did help me find things after extensive searches.
I would give these clowns zero stars if it would let me. After purchasing an item, following all directions then wrapping it for my daughter to open it on her birthday and to find out it didnt work. After traveling towards grand rapids hours from where i live they exchanged it for one that did work. They were pleasant to deal with in Gr. Anyway got a message from boss man at TC who sent an email stating he was so sorry for the inconvience and would like to send my daughter a gift card to help make the disappointment my daughter felt on her birthday less of a bad experience. So after spending 700 at the store and waiting over 6 months now Raymond did not send my daughter a giftcard. Not a letter nothing. Sent an email asking about it and received no response back on the promise he made. Will never shop at toys r us again. Point is dont promise a high paying let alone any customer a gift card to rectify the situation then not send it and ignore emails in regards to your lies.
Tried to order a car seat online. Turns out there was none left to ship. Went into the store to see if they had one in stock. They did not but the assistant manager I believe her name was Nikki took it upon herself to call Lansing to see if they had one. They did! Made a payment over the phone and it will be shipped to my house!!! I am so thrilled I got the car seat I wanted!! Great customer service! Nikki really went above and beyond to help and that means so much to me. Thanks again!!
Have a 9 week old and forgot our little swing on our way to Honor, MI. I looked on their website and found a swing I thought I might want. Nothing like being a father and having the baby for the first time with no mom around all by yourself. It is all about keeping the baby happy!!!
