We needed a place to wait on some vehicle repairs and this was perfect! Our waitress, Amber, was great. She kept the coffee coming and the food was great too.
Great food and the staff was terrific. It’s a small place with a relaxing atmosphere.
Very negative atmosphere. The servers were are all complaining about different things right in front of customers. One server took a plate from a man's tanle that he wasnt done with, so she took it out of the dirty plates bin and gave it back to him. A cook from the kitchen came out to get a cup of coffee, and noticed a rag was on the floor. He picked it up and put it back in the sanitation bucket. Once my food finally came out, it was dry and soggy. My toast was cold and my gravy was so dry and thick, not to mention cold. I sent it back thinking I would get fresh gravy, but she admitted to microwaving it after I complained about it being cold again. I didnt finish my meal and requested it be removed from our tab. I'm not sure what has happened to the staff there, but it used to be a very positive place to enjoy food.
I was visiting the Traverse City area from down state and wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast with a local diner experience. I knew the moment I walked into Rounds I had made a smart decision. The place was packed. All of the happy guests, busy waitresses and cooks made for a lively atmosphere that I craved. I also craved a large quality breakfast, which I received for a reasonable price. My waitress was genuine and kind. It was an all around great experience and I would recommend it to everyone.
Good service and extensive breakfast menu. My western omelet was blah... eggs not fluffy, but flat and dry...omelet wrapped around bland tasting ingredients.
