Really good BBQ for Northern Michigan. Fast and friendly service with plenty of food choices. Even some choices for people who suffer with nut allergies.
Really good food. Five stars except for higher than expected prices.
First time visiting. They don't have chicken wings, so I didn't know what I wanted at the time. The owner, who was working just like the others suggested an option so I went with it and was spot on! The good food and great service made up for no chicken wings! Doesn't taste like "franchised" bbq
Had the 3 meat plate. The chicken OMG. The chicken is the juiciest, most flavorful yard bird I have ever eaten! It is perfect, flawless and doesn't even need sauce. The brisket was dry, but I forgot about the sauce station so that would probably help. The ribs are tender and cooked to perfection, but again, i forgot the sauce. The green beans side dish is extremely peppery. May not be right for all but i liked em. Keep that chicken game up and you'll be seeing lots of me! Also, the first time i was there, the line was long, but the owner took a personal interest in my order when he saw me waiting for a side dish to be refilled. He made sure i was being helped and personally apologized for any delay. That's good customer service right there
I'm picky about BBQ and this place has far exceeded all of my expectations! I've now been here 3 times and every time I want to eat more but am too full lol. Plus the staff is ALWAYS friendly and optimistic :) Just what TC needed...hopfully they will open more locations!
