We booked Chef's Pride Catering for our Wedding. They got almost as many compliments as my dress! :) The food was fantastic, communication before the event as well as working with their staff on the big day was right on point. We could not have been happier or had things go any more smoothly. They come with my highest recommendation and most sincere appreciation.
My husband and I got married in July, we had nothing but the best compliments from guests on the food. We were however disappointed with how a certain situation was handled on the day of our wedding. I had a conversation with Larry about 1 week prior to our wedding day confirming our food options and that we had 8 vegetarians he proceeded to tell me no problem he was going make a vegetarian and also vegan friendly stuffed pepper and to just inform our vegetarian guests that they need to ask for that at the reception. Our wedding day came and I was informed from Larry's staff that there were no stuffed peppers, at first I was panicked and then came to a mindset that it was alright and we would just make due with what we had, Larry came over apologized and told us the stuffed peppers never made it on the sheet and he apologized. We said no problem and moved on from the situation and informed our guests of the change. Our photographer (who was vegetarian) pulled aside towards the end of the evening for some "golden hour" photos and I apologized to her for the mishap with the vegetarian option and she then informed me that Larry actually pulled her aside and told her that we had never even talked about a vegetarian option over the phone or at all, and I was instantly upset. I wasn't upset that they were forgotten because we all make mistakes but we were very upset that he had pulled one of our vendors aside and lied to her. I've reached out to Larry to discuss our disappoint with how the situation was handled and I have yet to hear from him. Although the food was great we were very upset with how he handled this particular situation.
Chef Larry and his crew are amazing. We were planning our wedding from the other end of the state. Larry kept up great communication and went through everything to make sure our guests food allergies would be safe so they could enjoy everything. His crew was great at the site as well. Very friendly, efficient and friendly. If I hold another event in his area, he will certainly be the first one called.
