We just moved to Traverse City from down state where I was a frequent Once Upon A Child customer. All I have to say is WOW! I went in for their clearance sale and this place is not only double the size of the store back home, but way more organized. It was extremely busy, but the staff was cheerful and assisted me with getting some toys off the top shelf. Unbeatable prices and great selection. If six stars would be an option this store would get it.

We move quite a bit, one constant has been shopping and selling at Once Upon a child stores. This store hands down is the biggest, nicest, and most organized store I’ve been to. Staff is always super friendly and helpful, including taking apart a crib so it would fit in my car. As long as I live in Traverse City I will be shopping exclusively here
This is literally the worst place to buy or sell children’s clothes for six totes of clothes and items they only wanted the $200 snowsuit and were willing to give me five dollars for it. While looking through their clothes I could could’ve gotten things cheaper at a regular store there a gyp don’t don’t go there give your business to twice trendy tots or another resale store in town because this is the worst Intown if not yet the world
The store in GR are much much better. I usually find that they take high quality gear that works and is in good shape. The workers are nice and they have good selection. This store sold us toys that didn't work. The tag did say "as is" but did not say doesn't work. I guess I should have assumed that is what it meant but I figured the "as is" meant it was a little beat up... not that it wouldn't turn on. Anyway, they were nice enough to take it back after giving me a bit of a fight. Regardless, they store is dirty and disorganized. The selection is poor. The quality of stuff is not as good as other stores.
