We enjoyed the park, small beach, and light house. It's a good place to take kids, who will enjoy the beach if nothing else.

Old mission point is an amazing drive, especially in the fall! When you get to the end of the point there are great views and a beautiful beach (not great for swimming though).
The well-marked trails wind through the tip of the peninsula with several lookouts onto the water. Nice place for hiking or snowshoeing. Not too much traffic on the trails themselves, with most people going for the views of the bay.
