It's free. Parking is available on the street. Covered Gazebo, grills and an updated playstruture that looks like a railroad train. Space to play catch or let the kids burn off energy. It's close to downtown and walking distance to great BBQ at Sparks BBQ or Bubbas Burgers.
What a great neighborhood park. Nice area, big playground for events, and the boys love the gigantic train playhouse. Just a stone's throw from the main drag in the residential area, this is a great place for a picnic or a break from a bike ride along the lovely TART trail. Stop by!
This is one of the best parks in Traverse City. Great playground. Large area. Great location for an event.
My son really likes the train play station. There's no brick and mortar bathroom here, but usually does have a porta-john.
I used to go to this park when I was a kid and I loved it. It's nicer now and the train they have to play on is like a million times safer. However, if you're an old fat guy and you haven't jumped off a swing since you were a young skinny guy, be careful. I ended up hurling myself into the ground face first and it hurt my body and pride very much. My wife let me spin her on the marygoround until she was ready to throw up.... So I had a great time
