3 stars for average. Showed a picture of what i wanted and it didnt turn out. My bangs kept getting shorter and shorter as she tried to fix it so i just said leave it.
My hairdresser was Tammy and she had no idea what she was doing. I spent way too much time sitting in the chair with her hanging out in the back and not doing my hair.
It was all fine until my friend slipped on hair and fell. None of the stylist showed any concern what so ever. There were two ladies in the back with apparently nothing to do that just chuckled at her as she was on the ground. I have never seen such horrible customer service from a hair salon. My friend really hurt herself. And those stylist sitting on their butt in the back could have been sweeping up the hair.
I came in with blonde hair and brown roots and I asked to go platinum. The hairdresser said that it was doable and kept saying how she did the same thing for her daughter. She did tell me it was going to harm my hair a lot and I knew this prior to going to the salon. She said she was going to try a color remover because I had a small bit of blue on the underside of my hair when I dyed my hair blue. She did the color remover and then asked me if I was fine with have a little bit of blue mixed with the platinum on the other side and I said yeah sure fine I like colors whatever. She then walked me back to the sinks and was taking her time with washing my hair and I didn't know it but she tried TWO MORE COLOR REMOVERS at the sink. That damaged my hair a lot more and she didnt tell me she tried two more color removers until check out. She should have told me. She was then going to bleach my hair but thankfully another hairdresser walked by and folded her not to as it would make my hair fall out. My brown roots had some ginger patches and my blonde hair was now light green. She told me platinum was not possible now even though she said she could do it although it may take two trips to the salon. She and some other hairdressers kept patronizing me and telling me I HAD to build my hair back up with protein before I even THOUGHT about going platinum. (When I came it the hairdresser said my ends looked really good for being a color that wasn't my natural). My hairdresser and another came over to talk to me and they were saying they should put a brown on my roots so it would be my natural color, and maybe do a dark color on the bits that were blonde, now light green. I said sure fine how about purple they said okay and did it. I left with BLACK roots and a purple neck and purple cheeks and purple ears and brown spots on my skin by my hairline. Never have I seen such a sloppy rushed dye job. There still is a small ginger spot where my roots that were supposed to be brown are. The purple dye they use is absolutely terrible it gets everywhere. I'm just going to stick with dying my hair myself with arctic fox cause arctic fox hair dye does not bleed. I hate having dark hair and I'm trying to wash it with hot water and lots of shampoo to get rid of the color but 1 the purple stains my back in the shower and 2 hot water and shampoo damages your hair and I don't want to damage it anymore than that hairdresser did. I am NEVER going back to Regis. Traumatizing experience and if there was a zero star option, I'd give it.
This salon is under newer management and starting to hire a lot of new girls! My kids and I go here to see Tami L. and we love her! I've always been happy with the way our hair looks and the staff has always been really nice.
