When my mom and I first arrived we went to clearance to look for a mattress and box spring. After we found nothing we asked the employee that followed us to the back of the store, even though we told her we didn't need help at the moment, where we could find the mattress section of the store. She led us there and showed us the size mattress we wanted. We told her we were going to look at a few other stores to see if there was any better deal. We came back later in the day and asked the front desk if the employee that helped us before could meet us at the mattress section. We waited for about 30 minutes before nobody showed up and we left to take our business elsewhere. In the end we found a better mattress for 100$ cheaper and shipping was half the price.
What a fabulous experience ! "Grandma Joanne" was by far the most absolute treasure ! She was welcoming, knowledgeable, caring, helpful, honest and so much fun ! I felt like Art Van was her home and I stopped in for a visit ! I will be back to see her again ! Great job !!!

with all that said, I would recommend working with Pam
the promotional deals at art van are just plain silly and they will always have a better sale so don't impulsively buy something. With that said, Pam was great and really answered questions and listened to what we were looking for. The first night we worked with her for about two hours. She did her job and detoured me from the cheaper clearance center couch and into a quality showroom couch. I had to leave to think about it. Next day we came in to purchase. It cost more than double what I was expecting to spend, but hopefully the quality is higher as well. I'm excited to get the couch and hope it lasts a long time. I got the feeling, towards the end, that she just wanted to finish this sale and get me out- but that's sales. deals done. NEXT.
