Got a salad bar to-go right before noon. Bar was full and fresh. The bartender and manger were very nice and helpful making sure I had everything I needed. Salad was good but some of the potato and pasta salads were bland. The pasta salad with peas and ham was GREAT! It's my favorite and always delicious. The other reviews scared me but my experience overall was good. Not a 5 star because some of the foods need a recipe revamp. Will return, for a salad for sure.
Maybe we went at the wrong time, but consistency is paramount; timing should never be an element to consider.
We got a coupon in the mail to go here. I hadn't been to a Ruby Tuesday in over 8-9 years, but I remembered liking their salad bar a lot. Something they are well known for. Unfortunately, it was not good. Salad bar is not what I remember at all, super toned down, not a lot of options. And the food itself was really bland, the my steak, which I asked for medium rare, came in Well Done.
Food and wine were both excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly, which is hard for to me being extremely picky. Our waiter, Matt, was absolutely phenomenal! That man deserves employee of the month. Very nice and attentive. Will definitely be back
Great place for the tourist drones who walk across 31 in traffic from their hotels, I'm sure, but this place is disgusting for its price point. The servers have always been stellar but the food is sub par. My son, a French fry addict who eats the dang things stone cold, won't even touch their (typically microwaved) kids menu. This isn't unique to ours, either. We've given the chain a couple more tries while on the road and the result has always been the same: it's how death throes taste in a business failing to stay relevant. It's a fancier Big Boy, at this point. Or the eatery version of K-Mart. They make Applebees look like Aerie.
We had a good experience at this Ruby Tuesday’s. Salad bar was the best variety we’ve ever seen at a Ruby Tuesday’s and our waiter and salad bar attendant were attentive and funny. We will be revisiting each time we get to Traverse City.
The staff is very friendly though. Otherwise I would have given it 1 star.
