BEWARE!!! I booked a cabin with TAVR only to find out that the property owner is not affiliated with them due to their bad business ethics. They assured me that my rental was still confirmed and they were not sure why the property owner was saying that. The property owner then went on to tell me that the dates i paid for were already booked and that Traverse Area Vacation Rentals was a "sneaky" business with terrible communication. Long story short- they are NOT A GOOD BUSINESS TO DEAL WITH. I did receive an apology email from TAVR who tried to explain to me that the situation was VRBO's fault, however i cant help but feel like it was just bad and sloppy on both ends. Communication is was makes a business and there was definitely no communication here. You can understand my disappointment as we booked this property for our wedding week! Now we a devastated and rushing to find another cabin! Although the refund was issued same day and they emailed me their concerns, i stick by my 1 star review as this situation should have never happened in the first place.
