Waited in line for ten minutes to order some cheese. When we got to the counter, the rude young lady that worked there brushed us off and, not asked, but told us to wait while she made sandwiches for the people in line behind us (apparently her friends because she was talking to them over us while we were in line). We left without ordering. There are many other places in TC that will gladly take my money and treat me like a valued customer. I was very disappointed.
I'll go again, but the service better be faster.
The guy working the counter was super friendly and let my try the olive salad prior to getting it on my sandwich (even though they were low on it). It was delicious. I'm glad places like this exist because I'd rather choose a locally owned and run sandwich shop with quality meat, cheese and bread over some chain so this hit the spot and didn't break the bank. (I believe my sandwich was $8.25)
Food is really good. Service....was lacking. I was skipped twice while in line to pick up my called in sandwich order. Then they still had to make the order. The speed of which the sandwiches were made was shockingly slow.
Great deli sandwich creations and sides to go with them. Expect to wait a few minutes for a sandwich to be made because this isn't your jimmy or subway, a lot of quality fixings are used here that take time. Pick up some house made pasta, bread, or cookies. The import necessities from Italy are well stocked and fun to explore.
Everything is so delicious! Best deli in Michigan! I love this place. What a find. The sandwich list will blow your mind.
I was amazed at the quality and flavor of the sandwich and for a good price. I ordered the sandwich with pastrami, provolone, and olive salad (forgot the name, maybe Fat Tom?).
