The food was okay. The only reason why I'm giving 2 stars if I do not like being ignored while people finish personal stories about getting wasted and hooking up with this person or that person. Forks are something that may be needed for a salad and I do not appreciate a sigh and eye roll when I nicely ask if I could please have a fork. If my kids didn't like Panera I would have no problem with never returning. This is coming from someone who used to eat there all the time.

LUCKILY the employee who had spoken with us was nice enough to bring us more bread and a dessert to make up for the error that the MANAGER was not going to amend.

Last night was the worst experience thus far. We went in for soup because we have both been feeling under the weather. My boyfriend ordered a bread bowl and I ordered a half soup/half salad combo. When the runner brought our food, she set a bowl of soup in front of him, without the bread bowl. No one approached us and told us that they were out of this item or offered any solutions. It was as though they thought we had simply forgotten what we ordered and would settle with whatever they brought out. I asked the girl if I could have a portion of my money back because there is a 30 cent difference between the two meals. This may not seem like a lot, but why should I pay for something we did not want?

Long story short, we probably will not be visiting the Traverse City Panera location anytime again in the near future and I advise you to do the same.

Poor leadership and poor customer service. Received wrong order. Drove all the way back in town, (after calling and being told they would correct the situation), and was only offered a refund instead of correcting the problem. They refused to give my husband the bread bowl that they forgot, but so easily charged uus for. The general manager was extremely rude to both my husband and the employees. So much so that the manager said that the situation would be corrected appropriately had this g.m. not been there, because she's rude to staff. Will be passing on coming to this location from now on.

After speaking with her the manager, a 24 year old named Mike, she never came back to our table. Another employee ended up coming over and telling us that the manager is a "Jack A**" and does not know how to run the business because it is in a constant state of chaos. She added that he said that I could not have any money back because the bread bowl and the normal bowl are the same price. Glancing at the menu again, I had confirmed the price DIFFERENCE. The manager never came to talk to us or allowed me to be refunded this money. That is probably one of the poorest examples of customer service that I have ever experienced. Delivering someone a product that they did not order and not making amends for messing it up is not acceptable anywhere. Someone needs to send that manager back to basic training.

I just sat in line for well over 20 minutes after calling in my order 30 minutes early. I talked to the girl through the speaker and said I was picking up my rapid pick-up order. Then when I got to the window she had no idea what I was talking about. If I already spoke to you about it then make sure it's ready for the window. I had work so I had to leave. My time was wasted and the manager came to the window acting like it was a joke. It's rude. I eat here many times a week and I highly doubt I will ever be back unless something seriously changes. I have never ever written a bad review in my life. I understand mistakes but not twice in one order.

First off, I will state that I love the salads and soups at Panera. This review has nothing to do with the quality of their food, rather their lack of basic customer service skills. My boyfriend and I have visited Panera frequently the past few months because it is a healthier and faster option for dinner when we are out and about, running errands in town. Every time we go there the tables are covered with dishes, they are out of some sort of ingredient and the faces and attitudes of the employees scream misery.

Had Panera cater a brunch on Saturday. Service and food were great and I could not have bought the ingredients for the price. Even the containers they used to transport were thoughtfully designed. If you need to feed a crowd, put Panera on your speed dial!
